Director
Hren Tenzler Legal Search was founded by Debra Hren, who has 20 years in the legal search business. She specializes in partner and practice group placements, working with many of the most prestigious law firms in the US and around the world.
Outside of her professional life, Debra finds her greatest joy in supporting her children’s ambitious pursuits. When she isn't cheering them on, she can be found enjoying long walks with her two beloved Pomeranians, *Bella and Jacques.

Marilyn Tenzler was a Managing Director at Hren Tenzler Legal Search with more than 10 years of experience in legal recruiting, specializing in partner and group placements. She was highly respected by clients for her professionalism, dedication, and ability to deliver results efficiently and thoughtfully.
We are deeply saddened by Marilyn’s passing on May 21, 2026. She will be remembered for her leadership, commitment to her clients and colleagues, and the lasting impact she made on those who had the privilege of working with her.
